This 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser got a hold of us looking to overhaul his entire audio system completely, add a substantial amount of bass, and retain all of his original factory features like steering wheel controls and reverse camera.

We started this project by replacing all of the speakers in the vehicle with some high-quality aftermarket replacements from Infinity! First, we removed the speaker grills that are protecting the factory dash speakers. Then we modified the opening to make room for the new Infinity REF3022CFX 3 1/2" speakers, connected the wiring, and munted them!

Once we had the dash speakers up and running, we tackled the Front Doors. We decided to replace the OEM JBL 6x9's with some Infinity REF9622IX 6x9's! We also added a substantial amount of sound deadening to the doors and some FAST Rings to help the speaker couple the door card.

For the rear speaker location, we decided to delete the pillar tweeters and instead add some new 6 1/2" to the rear side panels! We decided on the Infinity REF6522IX to match the front stage and added in even more sound deadener behind these to cut down road and wheel noise!

We replaced the OEM JBL radio with a Pioneer AVH-2330NEX with the Maestro RR kit to retain his factory steering wheel controls, factory JBL Amplifier, and Factory Backup Camera! This radio from Pioneer has Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, USB, and HD Radio connectivity!

We finished this build off with a Custom Box from Wicked CAS that houses two JL Audio 10" W3v3's!
