This 2014 Kia Forte had us install four Infinity REF6522IX, add a Bazooka BTA10100FHC 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer, and a Rockford R300X4 Prime 4-Channel Amplifier to his factory radio!
Pulling the radio from the dash in the Forte is a relatively simple procedure although the factory panel clips are held together very tightly.
Once we had removed the radio from the dash, we began work on isolating the speaker wiring and making all of our connections for the four channel Rockford Fosgate Prime R300X4 amplifier!
After routing all of our wiring, mounting and tuning the Rockford Fosgate Prime R300X4 with an SMD DD-1, we began work on the speaker replacement!
Disassembly of the door panels required removal of three fasteners and some careful pulling.
Replacing the standard stock speakers with the Infinity Reference 6522IX speakers drastically improved the sound quality in this Kia Forte!
