This customer contacted us after the existing aftermarket radio in his 2008 Ford F-250 stopped functioning. After inspecting the radio and the quality of the existing install he decided it would be better to replace the unit altogether instead of trying to repair a radio that wouldn't fit his needs.
After removing the old radio we began prepping the wiring for the new Pioneer AVIC-5200NEX. We ran the external Bluetooth microphone and GPS Antenna, connected the parking brake, and ran his new USB and Auxiliary connections to the glove box.
The new Pioneer AVIC-5200NEX gives him Apple Carplay Connectivity as well as standalone navigation for when he is outside of cellular reception. This unit will also pair to his phone through blutooth and allow him to make hands-free calls and listen to music wirelessly!
