This 2007 Ford F-150 returned to us looking for a rear vision camera and remote start/alarm to protect his audio gear.
First, we got the customer setup with a Viper 5706V, a DB3, and a power lock motor for his tailgate (Pop & Lock PL8250) to protect his gear when he wants to leave them under his tonneau cover.
After that, we began work on installing the backup camera. We decided the Crux CFD-03F, a factory style handle camera from Crux Interfacing, would be the best solution for the customer.
The Camera itself was both simple to install and very factory looking for an aftermarket piece. Overall we were very impressed with both the image quality and build quality of the unit.
This camera has removable reverse lines, and since he has an AVIC-5200NEX in the dash he can create custom lines to match his exact truck.
