This customer has a 2018 Ford F150 that he wanted to upgrade the sound in. The customer provided a pair of Rockford Fosgate Power T1650-S for the front doors, Rockford Fosgate R165X3 for the rear doors, a Rockford Fosgate R400-4D to power the doors, and a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D to power two Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8's in a box he built for the rear seats.

Pulling the door panel in these F-150's is a pretty straightforward process, and once we removed the factory 6x9 there was plenty of room for T1's. We added a bit of sound deadening to the door card, mounted the speakers to the appropriate speaker bracket from metra, and topped the whole thing off with some FAST rings! Then we repeated the entire process on the rear doors for the R165x3's.

Once we got the speakers installed, we moved on to routing the wiring for the new amplifiers and getting the subwoofers installed. We decided to integrate into the factory radio with a T-Harness to easily reverse in install down the road. And we used an AudioControl LC7i to convert the signal from the factory radio into a useable signal for the new amplifiers.
