This customer was looking to add a bit a dash camera setup to his 2016 Toyota Tacoma and wanted to be able to monitor both the Front and Rear! After selecting a Z-Edge S3 from Amazon.com, he contacted us for an installation that would last a lifetime!
With this install, we began by soldering power leads directly to the cigarette lighter power adaptor to perform a seamless hardwired installation. We found our power source inside the center console of the Tacoma since the factory cigarette lighter port switches on and off with the ignition, is very simple to access, and is properly protected with a fuse!
After making our power connections, we finished this install by routing our wiring and mounting the dash cameras in their new homes!
