This 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution contacted us looking to overhaul his sound completely! We decided to replace all of the speakers with the Rockford Fosgate Punch Series, we upgraded his factory amplifier with a Punch 1000.5, and a Kicker 10" Subwoofer in the OEM Location!
We started this install with pulling all of the original speakers and systematically installing the high-quality replacements! These Rockford Fosgate components were a huge upgrade even though this Evo was originally equipped with the OEM Premium sound system from Rockford Fosgate!
Once we had all of the new speakers in the doors, we started the new amplifier replacement. We managed to mount the new amplifier in the same location as the original Mitsubishi amp underneath the driver seat!
To finish off this install, we replaced the OEM subwoofer with a more capable subwoofer from Kicker. This began with the removal of paneling that covers the speaker and making our wiring connections before finally reassembling the trunk!
