This 2017 Jeep Wrangler reached out to us looking to have a Pioneer AVH-4200NEX, Maestro RR, and a front/rear camera installed! The Maestro RR not only retains the steering wheel controls it also gives us the ability to monitor engine temps and load with a digital gauge right from the radio faceplate!
I decided to start with the radio on this one since this would allow me the test and verify the cameras as they were completed! After pulling a few screws and the dash panel that covers the fasteners for the OEM Radio, I wired up the harness for the Maestro RR and ran my RCA's out of the dash cavity!
Then I proceeded to route my wiring forward into the engine compartment and secure it with the factory wire loom! We decided to mount the front camera to the cross member to ensure we have a good view of what is in front of the Jeep!
Lastly, we started work on the backup camera which was made a snap with the trailer hitch mount the customer provided!
