Upgrading your vehicle's backup camera system can greatly improve your driving safety and peace of mind. At Twelve Volt Technologies, we recently had the opportunity to remove an old backup camera and install a new license plate frame-style camera in a 2006 Mazda B3000. We integrated the new camera with the existing aftermarket JVC touchscreen radio in the dash, using high-quality materials and techniques such as wire loom, solder, and heat-shrink to ensure a reliable and long-lasting installation. In this post, we'll take you through our expert process step-by-step and share some insights on how the previous installation could have led to issues. So, whether you're considering upgrading your backup camera system or just want to see what we're all about, keep reading for an inside look at Twelve Volt Technologies' expertise in automotive electronics installation.
