This customer contacted us with hopes to have a full audio system installed in his 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback! He had already purchased an aftermarket Android radio, and wanted to get all the audio components to make his car sound great!
The installation started with removing the radio and running all of the wiring for our new 4 Channel Amplifier, The Kenwood Excelon X301-4. Once we had the Amplifier wired and secured, we could move on to the subwoofer installation in the rear.
To handle the bass in the car, we decided on a Rockford Fosgate P300-12 for its compact size, reasonable price, and substantial output!
To get that clean well-rounded sound, we decided to install a set of Kenwood Excelon XR-1700P for the front doors. Adding the soft dome tweeters to the upper sail panels helped add a ton of clarity to this civics front stage, and the midbass from these drivers is substantial for a 6 1/2!
Finally, we could move onto the rear doors and installing the Kenwood Excelon KFC-X174's. We decided to add a small bit of sound deadening to stiffen up the speaker mounts and some Stinger fast rings to really make these speakers sing!
