Hey there, it's David from Twelve Volt Technologies. Today, I want to share with you our process for upgrading the speakers in a 2007 Lexus LX470 with the factory Mark Levinson audio package. We decided to replace the factory speakers with Alpine S-S65C in the front and Alpine S-S50 in the rear, and the results were amazing! The sound quality was significantly improved, and we're excited to show you how we did it.

First things first, we removed the left front door panel to access the factory speaker. We then removed the factory speaker and wiring to prepare for the installation of the new speaker. After that, we compared the new Alpine S-S65C midbass with the factory midbass to ensure proper fitment, and once we confirmed that the new speaker was compatible, we installed it into the door panel.

Next up, we mounted the new tweeter to the car, making sure it was properly wired and mounted. Then, we moved on to the rear of the vehicle, where we removed the rear door panel to access the factory speaker. After removing the factory speaker and wiring, we installed the new Alpine S-S50 speaker. Finally, we reinstalled the door panels and tested the new speakers to ensure that everything was working correctly.

I hope this post has been helpful and informative, and if you have any questions about upgrading your car's speakers or any other automotive electronics needs, don't hesitate to reach out to us at Twelve Volt Technologies Inc. We'd be happy to help you take your car audio to the next level!
