This 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited adds security, convenience, and audio!
This 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited came to us to have a Pioneer AVH-X4800BS, Four Rockford Fosgate Punch P1675's, a Backup Camera, and a Viper 5706V Remote Start Alarm installed!
The proper installation of a Remote Start Alarm system in this model year Wrangler requires removal of the steering wheel to access the connectors at the ignition switch and factory immobilizer. After completing the disassembly and making all of our connections, it is a straightforward process of routing our wiring with the factory loom and securely mounting the bypass and brain! This installation also included a Directed 520T backup battery and a Directed 508d proximity sensor!
After getting the Remote Start Alarm installed, we began work on the radio replacement by removing the dash panels that hide the radio fasteners!
We then proceeded to fit the new radio into the dash and make all of the required connections for the radio and the backup camera!
The Pioneer AVH-X4800BS makes a nice addition to the Wrangler dash and adds a lot of features and connectivity that was otherwise missing with the stock radio!
We mounted the backup camera on the bottom of the rear bumper to keep the camera as centered as possible!
To finish off this install, we decided to replace the basic stock speakers with the P1675's from Rockford Fosgate. This began with the removal of paneling that covers the speakers and making our wiring connections before finally reassembling the vehicle!
