This customer contacted us after deciding to overhaul his 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe audio. He wanted to replace the old radio with a new Alpine ILX-107, add Polk Audio DB series Speakers, a Sound Ordnance Mono Amplifier, and a JL Audio Stealthbox! 

The factory radio in the Genesis has many features that are available from the aftermarket replacements, but one feature it did lack was Navigation and Apple Carplay which were must-have features for our customer!

Once we had removed the dashboard trim, we can pull the factory radio from the dash and begin wiring the harness for the Alpine ILX-107!

The Alpine ILX-107 is the first and only (at the time of writing) aftermarket radio to support fully wireless Apple Carplay connectivity from your iPhone.

Next, we began work on removing the door panels to gain access to the front door speakers. 

The factory Hyundai speakers are held in place with rivets that must be drilled out to remove and replace the speaker.

Once we mounted the Polk Audio DB651's to the proper speaker brackets, the customer had us add some FAST Rings to help the new speakers couple the door card!

The rear speakers in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe are mounted in the side panels which can make replacing them a bit complicated. 

After accessing the rear speakers, we were able to start working on mounting the new replacement speakers.

The Polk Audio DB651's make an excellent replacement for the factory paper cone Hyundai speakers 

The JL Audio Stealthbox is a fantastic way to add a lot of bass to your Genesis Coupe without taking up almost any cargo space!
