All-new speakers in this 2009 Nissan Pathfinder
Here is a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder with the Bose system that reached out to me looking to fix their sound. One of the factory Bose subwoofers in the rear had blown and needed replacement. The customer and I decided that all of the speakers throughout the car could use an update since they had likely seen similar treatment over the course of their life!
We concluded that the Rockford Fosgate Prime series speakers fit both the customers budget and performance expectations! We started this installation by pulling the dash speakers, building a bracket to house the new tweeters, and getting the updated drivers installed! Then we began disassembly of the doors and mounting the mids with an appropriate bracket and foam gaskets!
The next move was to remove the factory rear speakers to get the second component set installed in their place. The Rockford Fosgate Prime tweeter fit perfectly in the OEM Bracket on the door panel, and the door woofer got a similar bracket and gasket treatment to the front doors!
Finally, we could move on to replacing the blown out Bose Speaker in the rear. The customer decided only to replace the single damaged speaker here, and if the other driver went bad we would revisit the vehicle for a proper aftermarket subwoofer from Rockford Fosgate!
