This customer had an older Kenwood radio installed in his 2011 Ford F250 and wanted to update it to a Pioneer AVIC-W8400NEX. He also wanted to add a basic backup camera to simplify backing up to a trailer.
The Radio installation was where we decided to start this project. The first step was to remove the old equipment to clear the way for the new gear! Once we got the dash apart, we could wire the new harness to the Ford plug!
After we mounted and wired the new Pioneer radio, we could begin focusing on the installation of the new Echomaster backup camera. We went with a simple license plate mount camera since this is cost-effective and centers the sensor behind the hitch!
