This customer came to us with a 2008 Nissan Titan and wanted to install a backup camera and Kenwood DDX-6702S . We decided that mounting a camera to the factory tailgate handle for an OEM appearance was the right solution.

The camera we picked out was the iBeam USA TE-BAC with its 170-degree viewing angle and its IP67 rating making it entirely waterproof. We disassembled the tailgate and mounted the camera on the flat spot just to the left of the handle, and began routing the wiring up to the head unit.

The image from this camera is very clear and more than ample to confidently reverse, even in low light!
